>Activities & Outreach
We run and participate in a number of activities and outreach programs – such as our Pete’s Pantry and Brekky club, St Peter's Monday HUB, Pandora’s Thrift Shop, SAILS at Bayside, Mission to Seafarers. If you’re interested in finding out more about these outreach programs, checkout the links on our webpage.
>Building & Grounds maintenance
There is always something that needs to be done in a large Parish Centre like ours – we have regular indoor and outdoor working bees and gardening days, we also need help when it’s time to prepare or pull-down events like market days and book stalls. If sorting donated items and/or putting up tables is your thing, then we’ve got a job for you!
(and then a list of upcoming events – such as the painting the fence working bee, sewing day for LA crosses, Barista course)
>Worship
We’d love to see you on a Sunday or Wednesday service – but if you’d like to help us out while you’re here – we have a roster for everything from reading to making cups of tea –
Donations - Time to Volunteer is valuable to us and most appreciated.

>Expertise
- If you have hidden (or not so hidden) talents that you’d be happy to donate to us – please let us know. We never know when we’ll be faced with making a decision about roofing, plumbing, landscaping, livestreaming, web design (just to name a few) – and having someone happy to give us some advice is worth it’s weight in gold.
- If you would like to go one step further, and “donate” 10hrs (or so) a year of your professional services to us – it would be a huge help.
- If the creative arts are more/also your thing – and you like to make music or visual arts or sewing and craft – please let us know. Firstly we may be able to hook you up with some like-minded folk but you may also be able to help us out on special projects here or there, or expand our worship ideas.
> Stuff
- Sometimes we need items to keep the parish running. Sometimes we need new things – sometimes it doesn’t matter so much. We’re publishing a list – so that if you or someone you know has something we need, that you don’t – you could consider donating it. For instance – right now we are thinking we need a second hand smart phone to use for our eftpos machine, a good webcam or an old android phone with a decent camera for livestreaming and a second hand laptop for running power point in the chapel.
- Pete’s Pantry is a fabulous outreach – and while we source the bulk of our stock from places like foodbank – some things just aren’t always available. If you’d like to help us out check our newsletter, call our parish office or email us to see what we need.
- We also take second hand clothing and household items for our Pandora’s Thrift Shop, and our regular jumble and market days. Unfortunately we cannot take electrical items or large furniture.
>Money
- Yes, sometimes even with donations of time, expertise and “stuff” – we still need money. If this is your preferred way of contributing, here are some ways you could assist us, and some projects you could donate to: Pete’s Pantry & Brekky Club; ABM; Painting the fence (we’ve had some trouble with graffiti lately); Security Cameras for the Precinct.
- Direct Debit – if you would like to streamline your regular giving to the church, our Direct Debit details are listed below. Of course, if you prefer the traditional envelopes or a donation when you attend a service the 'giving bowl' is always available – those are still options.
- Or we have a quick and easy QR code for donations below. The Direct Debit details and QR code are published weekly in our Pew Bulletin
If you’d like to support us in any of these ways – please contact our Parish Office Via the contact form; Parish Wardens or send a message on our Facebook page and we’ll help find something that suits you.
